The Nest chair is a multi-functional flat pack chair, designed for the purpose of limiting the amount of furniture in your home. The nest evokes feelings of comfort and safety as it’s large wings cradle the user. Why have a bookcase and a chair when you can have all in one? The manipulations used are slotting, creasing/folding, and laminating. Problems with this chair were size of the seat itself, the under leg space, it’s shelves and Prototype 1 cannot yet be flat shipped. The back leg bent due to weight not being evenly distributed, this happened because the back walls did not have shelves. |
