Hexcite

Hexite is a lounge chair inspired by gemstones and the hexagonal structure of honeycombs. It is a pack-able, portable, and multi-functional structure that features a suspended cardboard mesh seat. The lightweight property of cardboard is utilized in a mesh and panel system to construct a lounge chair for small spaces which then easily converts into a table when desired.
The lounge chair is shown with it’s tabletop attachment.
The panels allow for the chair to be easily flat-packed for shipping.
Due to it’s small foot print and multifunctional feature, the chair is ideal for small spaces and flexible living. Simply slide the table top onto the chair to transform the seat into a table. A velcro tab allows for the table to be separated from the seat.
